Foundations of special education is a course that provides an introduction to the field of special education.
The course also explores the various disabilities and disorders that may affect students, including learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders. The topics include:

- Disabilities and God's Kingdom
- Overview of Intellectual Disabilities
- Overview of Emotional and Behavior Disabilities
- Overview of Visual Impairment
- Overview of Hearing Impairment
- Overview of ADHD
By the end of this course, students will have a foundational understanding of special education and the skills necessary to support students with special needs in a variety of educational settings.
